Training Services
Education is such an important foundation with horses of all disciplines and it is important that you get it right from the start.
At BKW Equine I use a diverse range of trainers tools to create a holistic approach to training that is beneficial for all disciplines. I work within each horses specific needs to create the desired outcome for each individual client.
We are proud to use natural techniques and methods from a range of different world renowned trainers and don’t stick to one way. We find that this works well and we can adapt to create the best result for each horse by changing the training to suit their learning style and needs.
Schooling
Schooling sessions are perfect for a horse that needs a little extra help moving along or getting more buttons installed. Anything basic or complicated that the horse needs more work on.
We work with you, and base each session on the goals you want your horse to achieve and make it fun and easy for them to comprehend and understand. We send the horse in the direction you want to go with your horse and make sure you as the owner understands and gains new skills and tools to be able to continue the horse and teach you how to train your horse these new things too.
Starting/Breaking In
The first step in a horses education is the most important. It creates a base foundation for everything else done in it's entire ridden life. At BKW Equine we recognise this importance and create a positive experience.
No matter what the horses background or previous experience we strive to make sure they have a positive start to their riding education.
We also give you some skills to continue you horses education and help you to keep progressing with your horse to the next level.
Riding out and About
Want to get your horse out and about wether at a competition or schooling practice day but a bit nervous about doing it yourself? NO PROBLEM. We can do it for you and make sure it is a positive experience for both you and your horse.
*Prices will vary depending on the length of the competition/session. E.G A ride at a full day ODE will be different to one show jumping round.
Groundwork/Behaviour Managment
Does your horse sometimes walk all over top of you? Knock you with it's head? Problems with manners? We can help. This is all apart of respect and ground work. To help your horse understand boundraies we use techniques and tasks to help gain control of all of the small things most people dont even think about which creates huge positive changing in riding too.
Just think of it like this - If your horse doesn't respect you on the ground, why would it respect you anymore on it's back.
Pricing
Schooling - $45 per session (plus travel if applicable) or $320 per week (including grazing)
Starting/Breaking In - $320 per week (Including grazing)
Riding Out and About - Starts from $20 (Dependant on event)
Groundwork/Behaviour - $45 per session or $300 per week (including grazing)
